For more than a generation, volunteers have brought a fresh and spontaneous enthusiasm, a cheerful and willing spirit, a sustained commitment to the Samaritan Village mission to eliminate the devastating impact of substance abuse on individuals, families, and communities.

Volunteers receive the personal satisfaction of contributing to important work along with an opportunity to learn new skills and make new acquaintances.

It provides the volunteer the opportunity to be useful, to make a contribution of time and energy to meaningful work and to grow in both technical and interpersonal skills.

Samaritan volunteers gain an understanding of the importance of substance abuse treatment.
